Nokesville

Nokesville

Nokesville is a community steeped in agrarian tradition. In 1865, Nokesville became an intermediate stop on the Orange and Alexandria Railroad. As a result, the community grew. Trains brought the machinery needed to till the land and reap the harvest; they left with the processed goods. Nokesville was the quintessential small town of America. This spirit lives on today.

Nokesville is southwest of Bristow, off Route 28. Residents here live a relatively undisturbed life on quiet country roads. Nokesville is an opportunity to own an idyllic parcel of land and enjoy the benefits of life outside the congestion of your neighbors to the north. Various farmers markets run from May to October. Major retailers and grocery stores are only a 10 to 15 minute drive away.

The two-lane road rules. Route 28 connects residents with I-66 to the north. Nokesville is approximately 45 to 50 minutes outside Washington, D.C.
