Lake Ridge

Lake Ridge is located just south of Fairfax County, nestled along the Occoquan River, approximately five miles off of I-95. In the 18th century, the area was home to a number of gristmills. Large-scale development of the Lake Ridge area did not start until late into the 20th century. What started in the 1960’s as a small planned community has grown considerably over the past 50 years.

Lake Ridge boasts over 70 subdivisions of single-family homes and townhomes. There are condominium complexes as well. Lake Ridge residents can find numerous amenities off Old Bridge Road. Shopping opportunities at Tackett’s Mill and nearby Potomac Mills Mall will not disappoint.

A look at Lake Ridge’s event calendar hints at a welcoming community. Neighborhood pools dot the Lake Ridge community and golf courses are only a stones throw away. An array of sporting opportunities caters to all crowds. Flag football, youth soccer and a running club are just several of the ways to get involved. For those looking for something more benign, Lake Ridge also has book and garden clubs.

Old Bridge Road connects Lake Ridge residents heading west to Prince William Parkway. I-95 is the areas major thoroughfare.
