Hamilton, VA is located just east of Purcellville, off Route 7. After the Civil War, Hamilton became a destination of interest with the construction of the Washington and Old Dominion Railroad as visitors from Washington and Baltimore sought relief from the hot city summers.
Hamilton keeps the spirit of "small town America” alive and well. There are ample amenities located in nearby Purcellville. Lowry’s Farm Market offers fresh produce from March to December.
Hamilton is home to the beautiful Hamilton Community Park. Open promptly at 7:30 am to sundown every day. It is open to the public free of charge; the park pavilion can be rented for events or parties for $50.
Like many of the communities in Loudoun County, Hamilton is easily accessible by Route 7.
